Yom HaShoah Seder

Yom HaShoah Seder: Wednesday, April 23 4:30-6pm

We will mark Yom HaShoah this year with a Yom HaShoah Seder, as we did in a powerful and highly engaging program last year. Like a Passover Seder, we’ll use selections from a Haggadah (from the Shalom Hartman Institute) to learn about Jewish life before and during the Holocaust. We will hear from a survivor in our community and then in small groups hear from the child or grandchild of a survivor in our community. We’ll learn about the Shoah through food, music, stories and poetry. We will honor the memories of the victims, celebrate the acts of kindness and courage shown by so many in the worst of circumstances, help students feel personally connected and inspired to stand up against hatred and bigotry. Parents and caregivers are encouraged and invited to attend! Please register if you are able to attend this special program.
